Don't know how many of you have seen this already, but it covers some things that I wasn't aware of until now.
And for those of you who haven't heard of Bioshock, read this and become a believer

Fairly long-winded. But it does have some new info on just how detailed this game will be.

probably should have warned about that, it is a really long article, so get ready to devote some time to it (worth it in my opinion)

I lost interest in this game when it was degraded to a generic shooter. What happened to the slow-paced and diverse experience that was the original Bioshock?

The impression I got from the article was that it was the same original bioshock, but feel free to prove me wrong

According to PCG and several other magazines I'm subscripted to, they removed and otherwise curbed some of the most pivotal elements of the game. Ever played System Shock? Bioshock was supposed to be its spiritual twin - sibling, if you will. Instead, BS (fitting, eh?) has degenerated into a tepid shooter, albeit a good one.

damn, I'll still reserve total judgement until it comes out, but it just lost some of the appeal. Part of what drew me to the game in the first place was whole pushing point of it being unique and different, but still they may save themselves on this one.

As I'm the worst hypocrite alive, I'll probably buy it anyway, but I doubt it can beat System Shock in the way it was originally supposed to.
Perhaps that's justified. After all, System Shock fared abysmally, selling only 100 000 copies.
Still...
(If you haven't tried SS, do so now. Sofort!)

Same feeling Qouti, I playes SS2 I think, scared the living shit out of me. This game did seem to go downhill. I don't even know why, the hype just died for me.
