The xbox 360 NXE is coming out, if I can remember correctly, at the same time this game is coming out. Anyone have a clue the required room for installation for this game?
Is it the same as the PC's, or larger, or smaller?
(I'm running on a 20 GB HDD, and 6 GB is used by the system.)

I think, the creators will have something to with HDD space. They know alot of us have absoletely no room on our HDD's and there the ones updating it. were not saving. So I think they have something worked out for that.

Correty me if I'm wrong, I don't have a 360, but the console version doesn't do any installing, does it? There are 360 owners that don't even have a HDD for their system.

If you go to Gamevideos.com and type in the search
Xbox 360 'New Xbox Experience Walkthrough'
The only thing they say about installing is that you have to have the game to install and all it does is make the load times faster.

yeah, i'm pretty sure you don't install games on a console or else you will take up way to much space

When the new NXE system comes out, you will be able to install games to your hard drive.
I'm not 100% sure how it does it, but I think by 'installing' it simply means 'copying the disk to the hard drive.' Unlike PC games, where installation can modify several folders including the registry, I think this simply makes a disk image on the hard drive.
Could be wrong though, but that's how it seems.

Did no one check what i posted? 1up says that you actually just copy the disk to the harddrive (i think they said it takes like 8 gigs) so the game speeds up on load times. You still need the game in the disk slot to play, so to waste 8 gigs for faster load times seems pretty stupid.

Maybe if you only have the 20GB drive. If you have then 60GB or 120GB drive, why not? What else would you use for space?
Also, that's what I said. >_>

Well that and (IMO more importantly) it does not require the disk to be spinning - therefore making it much quieter to play; something that I believe could be paramount to getting the full audio thrill from L4D.
