Is zombie horde a server side mod?? Like can i just connect to a server running it and be able to play?? if so what is my filter zh_?? also what other zombie games can be played like zm_ zombie mod

Yep, just join any server, you'll automatically download any skins/levels you need.

zombie master is an actual mod that is run directly from steam, do a google search for zombie master, you can get the file from the official website for free.

zombie master requires that you have half life 2 files either from deathmatch or the actual game. It doesnt use counter strike source files you see. Zombie Horde is a server based modification specifically for counter strike. Presuming the host of the server has the Upload settings enabled, Tek is right in saying you will be able to download the relevant files in order to play on the server. I advise to take a look at the matrix mod also, its very good.

AFAIK, you can play zombie master without HL2. All you need is to download the free source SDK base program (steeam menu, then tools) you should then be able to play zombie master.

Wah, you have IP for matrix mod, I thought that died in 1.6... I LOVED THAT, it was too fun to be free.

the source engine is good, hl2 etc....cs source sucks considerably, atleast compared to 1.6 :)

wrong you need the HL2 full game to play
because i only have hldm (deathmatch) and i cant play it
i got it for free because i got an ATI card and people with it can get it for free

Does anyone think the game would be better on a more updated engine like the Unreal engine?
