Hey guys, I'm stumped on whether or not I should get the 360 version to play with my buddies who don't have Live.
Players: 1-2
Players Co-op: 1-2
System Link: 2-4
Xbox Live Players: 2-8
Xbox Live Players Co-op: 1-4
That's what I see for 360's player information.
So does this mean there is no 4-player System Link co-op mode? System link meaning it's only good for 2v2 gameplay?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm pretty upset that there wasn't flat-out 4 player co-op. :/

Here's how this will boil down.
You can have two players per xbox, and by those numbers it appears there can only be four at any given time via a system link.
On live it goes up to 8.
Does this answer your question?

I understand that system link will allow 4 players, but more specifically I'm asking about co-op mode.
It doesn't list System link as 'co-op' which leads me to believe that for some reason it will be 2v2. I mean why else would they list co-op separately for split screen and live, but then not indicate it for system link?
So I just want some confirmation system link mode has co-op. Thanks.

To have the system link be only 2 vs. 2 would be kind of ridiculous for a
game that is completely based around 4 player co-op, if I was a betting man
I would put a large sum of money on it being 4players co-op system link.

System Link: 2-4
Co-op is full four players, but for versus it looks like 2v2

One thing I know for sure, is a single xbox can run split screen online or off, and if you system link two boxes, you get 2 split screens, meaning 4 players.

Well 2 copies of L4D at $60 a pop = $120. I'm not looking to get 2 copies and get 2 360's/tvs together just to find out there's no 4-player co-op. I just want to make sure it has it before I go out and get it.

to tell you the truth, i've seen errors on game information there in the past.
Edit: actually, i dont think its an error
If you go here URL (http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/k/kaneandlynchdeadmen/) It reads
Kane and Lynch
Players: 1-2
Players Co-op: 1-2
Dolby 5.1 Surround
HDTV 1080i
Storage Device
Players: TBD
Xbox LIVE Aware
Which, just like the one you posted, would mean that there is gameplay
that supports 2 player offline, which isnt co-op. I own this game. Offline, if you have 2 people, you can only play campaign.
This also goes for URL (http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/c/crackdown/). It also reads:
Crackdown
2 Players
Xbox LIVE Co-op
Meaning that there may be something other then co-op that can be played with 2 people. There isnt. I think its just the way xbox.com sets up their information.

I'm relatively sure you could play either 4 player coop over system link, or 2 vs 2 versus mode (two survivors and two other bots, and two zombies and two bots.)

I'd like 4 people on a screen, then in the next room system link 4 infected.
That'd be a fun ass night.

Well I'm definately hoping that system link 2-4 means 2 xboxes for 4-player co-op mode, and not something ass-backwards like 4 xboxes for 4-player co-op mode, or some weird thing like that.
I remember Doom 3 for original Xbox was like that. We tried to play it system link, but it ended up being only 1v1 supported, and you need a new xbox for each extra person.
Well hopefully I'll find out at a local retailer when the game hits.
Thanks to all who have replied (cept the first reply guy)
