First off i read through the preview and thought it was great and i cant wait for part 2, and u guys are so lucky to go and visit the valve HQ and be some of the first ppl to play L4D!

Just wanna know if anything was mentioned about multi core support in the first release?

ps

did u mention the idea of Mildred the infected Yeti to Booth or any of the other guys at Valve?

haha

OMG I forgot the Yeti! Nooo..

They've said in an interview that they'll be taking advantage of multicore processors, so I would say yes.

This was a question I was going to ask also. I have a nice little Core 2 duo Heh. Dual core support makes such a huge difference.

Yeah, I don't have a multicore processor yet but I'll definitely be getting one for L4D. It's nice to see that Valve and Turtle Rock are embracing the technology and we all get to benefit from it! Jiggly bellies for Boomers.. woot.

This was a question I asked in another thread regarding multicore effects, like Boomers jiggle belly;
Will those of us with beefy single core processors still be able to try and render those effects?
My 2.8 P4 single core should be able to handle anything a 1.5 dual core could pump out, right?
