That 530w should do the job, my spec is virtually identical to yours, except I only have one DVD drive, but three HDDs.
I`m running with a Seasonic 600w PSU.
Your 530w should be enough, but be wary of the make. I`ve had two Hipers in my PC building history and both have gone `pop` on me.
For reliability I would go with Seasonic or Enermax, the extra bucks are worth it for piece of mind, especially with the video card and CPU you have. You wouldnt want the PSU going bang and taking out your video card too.
When my two Hipers went, they did no damage to the rest of the PC, but I would steer clear of them myself after that experience.
Also, the 8800 GTX needs two of the new style power connectors, each one of these is the equivalent of two molex connectors ( the ones that power your DVD and HDDs ).
So, thats a total of FOUR molex connectors just for the video. Your Hiper PSU may not have the new style connections, but you should get a convertor with the card.
Hope this helps.
Also, regarding LCD monitors, there are a couple of drawbacks, but really minor if you have a good enough system. The `native resolution` of LCD`s are comparable to their size, my Samsung 225BW has a native resolution of 1600x1050 because its a 22inch screen. The higher resolution demands a more powerful video card, but you can run games on it at 1024x768 , but they dont look as crisp and the aspect ratio will be out ( as my monitor is widescreen )
The other thing is , the refresh rate. At 60 hertz you will limit the framerate of a game if you enable vertical sync. Vertical sync prevents `graphic tearing` by syncing video output with the monitor refresh rate. With a CRT you could have a refresh rate of 100 hertz , and then the game would be allowed to reach over 60 fps if it is able to.
Once youve used an LCD you`ll find it hard to go back to a CRT. I have two monitors connected to my PC, the other apart from my Samsung is a 4:3 21" CRT. The picture quality on the Samsung is much better than the CRT, especially with text.

This is the one I have - seems pretty reliable so far, and quiet.
I guess if you are in the States you may have to find one from a US retailer.

*edit*
Actually, mines NOT the modular one, they dont seem to have a 600W identical to mine, this is the nearest ...........

Rubbish, the C2D p*sses all over anything AMD has.
The overclocking ability of the intel chips is amazing, it leaves AMD far behind.
The only thing I'd change is probably go for the E6600 conroe chip and overclock it, as it is extremely stable at huge overclocks, that there is not much point to buying the slightly faster E6700

Exactly what I`ve done Teknobry.
The 8800 GTX`s can take some overclocking too , you`ll be able to set that to 626mhz and 2000 ( the same as the BFG OC2 cards )
AMD have always been playing `catchup` with Intel, plus you cant beat Intel for reliability.

Apevia 680W BEAST POWER (Blue Color) ATX-AS680W-BL
Not heard of the brand, but certainly looks like a well made PSU. 680W will be more than adequate.
I like the blue cable, and it looks like the fan has a blue LED in it ! COOL! :)

So that would be set for my Core 2 Duo 2.66 8800 GTX and all the other stuff?
I'm also getting the Killer latency interface card, will that be good for the PSU too?
