Get Ready For The Zombie Apocalypse!

By now, you've probably heard of the new Co-op survival shooter, Left 4 Dead. Well, it's almost time to hit the sticks with some of your best mates and see what you're made of. In only a few short days the game will be released and the contest will begin! Here's how it works:
Grab three of your battle-hardened friends and team up to take on another team of four in a zombie vs. survivors game mode. The winners of two maps will move onto the next round. More details about the tournament (and the prizes) will be released shortly. For now, Sign up by having your team captain e-mail us at tournaments@gamecolonial.com. There's no entry fee and it's a contest to be enjoyed by anyone who has the game!


So just like its read, its a tournament and there will be prizes.

- Xbox 360 Platform

- Must have a Team of 4, You and three others.

- Go to http://gamecolonial.com and sign up there before you sent an email.

- After you sign up there, which is free, send an email to tournaments@gamecolonial.com with your username/gamertag on the http://gamecolonial.com site. Also with the rest of your team's Usernames and Gamertags. And a Team Name as well.


Tournament will start 2 weeks or so after the Release so that people can get to know the game good.
But we are starting Registration now so that people can have spots already before it gets full.

Prizes will be announced at the start of the Tournament, and trust me it will be worth the while.

There is no Entrance Fee. Just go, sign up, wait, and have fun.

Microsoft Points - 1600 + Per teammate
Xbox Live - 3 Months or maybe more per teammate


More will be added, and will be decided when the game comes out and tourny starts up. So sign up and get a team going before there are no more entry spaces.

Alright so here it is


Tomorrow is the Last Day for registration, so a couple things were changed just now to hopefully get some people in that couldnt find a 4 membered team.

The minimum Requirement to join is at least 2 people in the Team.

You must be a member on www.gamecolonial.com (http://www.gamecolonial.com) (Also your partner)

You must send us an email with your:

-Team Name
-Gamertag (You and Team members)
-Username on the site (Team members as well)

The email is located up on my first post tournaments@gamecolonial.com

After you will have to set up your team on our Ladders page which is located on the left of the homepage. There you will find the Rules and everything else that you need if you have questions. If none of your questions are answered PM me on the site or send an email to tournaments@gamecolonial.com or just ask it here.

You have all of tomorrow to sign up. More information on tournament set up/times/prizes/etc is located on the site's front page.

We have changed the last registration day to today in order to allow late teams to enter. We would like to ask all team captains to create a team via our new Tournaments and Ladders system. If you are participating in the tournament, please join your team after it has been created by your team captain. Any teams created that have not signed up before the end of December 3rd will be deleted and disqualified. If you still need to sign up, e-mail us at tournaments@gamecolonial.com. Yeah thats why we decided to push the date 1 more day. So today will be the last day for registration. There should be a lot more people signed up now that there is a minimum requirement of 2 per team. So you might want to sign up just in case slots get filled up too fast.

You can register another person so long as that person is registered on the site's roster. So that person has to have an account on the site and join on your team.

This Saturday the long waited Zombiegasm '08 Tournament starts up. Its been a long wait, for the release date, the demo, the game, and then the tournament. But in 3 short days the infection is finally here. Take this time to ready your fellow survivors. Then lock and load.

Go to the site on the competition's page. There is a bracket with the team you are going up against. You'll have to talk to the team leader and schedule a time and do the match. It has to be completed before wednesday.
