How do you confirgure hammer for left 4 dead?

Could someone provide me with a link or give a breif explanation on how to confrigure hammer to make maps for left 4 dead, like when redspike was showing his custom map. Sorry if this has already been explained, i did a search but nothing came up. Thanks.

I used the ep2 setting, any orangebox game will do. There are no l4d entity definition files out yet so you'll have to do everything on your own.
