some 1 needs to take the safe room in the demo to where it should be in the full map it should not be hard moving things in hammer i guess. but it would be nice to have a full 2nd map.

If you mean that we need to make saferooms in our customs maps it will be difficult, Valve haven't released the SDK for L4D yet, people are just using the HL2 SDK and just exporting their maps to L4D.

no i mean decompileing the map for the subway and making it the full ver of the map where it cuts off is not the right place the real safe house is though a building and down a street and is in the map but the safehouse was moved what i am saying is to move the current safehouse in hammer to the real spot so we would get the full map.

then u make your way down the street to a pawn shop

Ah ok, yepp it may work to decompile the map and put it together, but compiling it wont work since all entitys doesn't exist in the HL2 SDK, once they release the L4D SDK it will.

You don't need to have entity definition files, the bigger problem is that hammer can't find the l4d materials so vrad will get mad at you :P

Deltus, you need to fix the vmf in notepad so Hammer opens the map.

totaly possible, ive recompiled versions of the apartments map and they work fine, i haded noticed this thou, good find on noticeing the diffrent safehouses

Yeah, we can't do this until Valve get the SDK-files out - and by that time the full game will be released. So theres really no point in continuing this discussion :P
