Splitscreen xbox 360 controller = VAC ban?

Ok so I did some reading and wouldnt the modification of the 360controller.cfg file qualify as grounds for a vac ban? i does edit the code of the game and If you leave the code there and connect to a VAC secured server wouldnt it register it as a "hack" under the VAC guidlines?

Since it supports gamepads, I don't think so....but then again it is VAC, everything is a hack.

No. It doesn't edit the code of the game at all. cfg files = configuration files, If VAC would count this as a hack, most cs players would've been banned by now for all their "buy scripts" or overall performance configs. You wouldn't get banned for changing a key in the options would you?
