Who cares. The game is all about working as a team and killing zombies. Speed runs accomplish neither.

I do. I joined a game earlier and everyone jumped off the ledge and speed ran through the level. I died.
The director should not be beatable, and you should not be able to skip half the damn level.

I totally agree. In fact, I never thought doing stuff like this would even be possible in this game, what with the supposedly unforgiving, lone-wolf-punishing AI Director! He's definitely asleep at the wheel in these instances.

Valve: please remove the ability to jump off the building in the full game. Come on. Or at least so severely punish anyone who does it (especially alone!), that they won't make it very far--let alone all the way to the safe room! The second they hit the pavement they should be swarmed to death. Seriously.

Or, make a invisible box on top of the coolant, so that nobody can jump on top of it, and even if they did, they would die trying to jump down.

AI is just random but, actual players co-ordinating is going to be a whole new factor.

They fixed this already, Actually I rather have it so that when you do something like that The director spawns 100s of zombies + Smoker to hang you up in the air and a Tank to use you as a punching bag to punish those who did it.
