Is it possible to get gm_flatgrass to work with the demo, because I would like having a wide open area to just gun down zombies, especially with the hunting rifle from long range while they are running at me.

If anyone can help get this map running well in the demo, it would be great if you could post the map so we could play it. Thanks.

the director wouldent know where to spawn, because it doesnt like spawning zombies where you can see

Well really I just want to know if it's possible to force the spawn, or if there is actually a map that is just a flat open area for the demo.

Even if the directer couldn't spawn zombies on the map, I can spawn them using sv_cheats 1 and the z_add command binded to a key, so is there a way to get the map to work with it's textures and materials all working, because right now when I load the map it's all the "Pink and Black" texture missing sort of thing.

You dont need the AI director to spawn things. Just put in "zm_spawn horde" to spawn a regular infected. And just bind a key to it.

Also don't you just put gm_construct inside the map folder and put in the console "Map gm_construct"? If so, thats your answer Levi

Should be at least some areas similar to that in the full game Tuesday, I'd think. Either on Blood Harvest or Death Toll (aka "murky countryside").

Even if I did put the gm_construct map into my maps folder, it would load the map but the textures and materials would be missing.

Yeah the textures would be missing. Why don't you just add the textures then? If you could fine them :). Or why don't you just make your own map?

Well, one because i'm not a mapper, and two I know the textures are in the .gcf's for CSS, and the Source .gcf's. But I have tried placing them in the folder and my game stopped working properly. I am also experiencing a bug with my sky on maps, like on house_alpha1.bsp it loads the map fine, but the sky is missing so there are like a million copies of what's going on in my screen ingame.

Nevermind I fixed it, flatgrass is working perfectly now.
