Hey, guys.
Any modders up to convert a HL2 Map to L4D? It's pretty much only the bmp (and a few other parts) from a semi-defunct HL2 Mod.
Or, if someone could be so kind, help me through porting it; I don't own HL2, and I'm getting a *lot* of errors (visual gaffes, and physics gaffes) on the map.

Yeah, I was looking at that last night. I threw all the stuff from materials/maps/models into the l4d folder under the appropriate places, and the game freaked out on me.
Unfortunately, I'm just looking to convert a HL2 mod's map to L4D, and so it's not applicable. Still, HL EP 1 in L4D is pretty dope, I admit.

How did you make the conversion? Pretty much, I want to privately modify a map that can't be released publicly, but none of the FAQs touch how to fix all the glowing ERROR messages in place of where the sprites are (and the physics errors as well)
I think things will be easier after the sdk is updated for l4d. I got a ZPS map of mine ported over and it required making sure all the textures and models were in there. I still have a few physics props that refuse to show up right. I suspect once l4d content is available, things will be better.
