Left 4 dead closet glitch

If you break the doors while a teammate is inside a closet wating to respawn, you get this glitch.

they're always invisible. if that happens, sometimes just opening the door isn't enough; you have to actually touch the silhouette

Indeed, thats odd.

Also, why can't they get out by themselves ? Is it really that hard to open a door ? And if its locked, well, i dont see the infected having that much of a problem tearing the door to pieces...

Did this by accident one time, and couldn't rescue them until I actually walked into the room.

Weird, I always thought those closets were invincible when there's a respawn in them.

what bothers me the most is that you can open the damn closet, see that there is nobody inside, close the door and soemone spawns inside there... it's just odd

yeah. nothing kills it for me like hearing someone say, "shit, he died. lets hang around here until he respawns in the closet."

The only door that breaks with players in the closet is the one right near the finale in the subway.

I see this post has gotten silly, anyway well by the looks of their action they are trying to find the doorknob, and well thats just dumb of them, but the their locked in a closet with a million zomb's running around, but it's a glitch none the less, not survivor ghosts to retarted to walk through the wall or door xD.

They went inside about a month ago, but the Director locked it.

The real question is, since they have a gun when you rescue them, why can't they just shoot their way out?

Because startling the door would be catastrophic.
