Sorry for DP, snipers are camo'd in the jungle, just the stormtroopers and rocket guys that are all in white hahhaa, Darktroopers and the other guys in black can be camo'd also. I know why you get annoyed with being in white in a jungle, lol its hard to stay alive when your playing live because the Rebel team is full of good players that have good camouflaged outfit and snipe you from a good and hidden spot.

Wow next gen BF might actually be good. Im a big Star Wars fan and even I was disappointed with BF2. That's another Star Wars game or Lucas game in general to look forward to for me.

For now though im more interested in TFU

Im a big Star Wars fan and even I was disappointed with BF2
Yeah, I'm a big star wars fan also, and I too was a little disappointed with BF2. They didnt put much work into it to tell the truth, just some small changes thats all. you know what I think wouldve been better? If they allowed more AI than just 16 at a time, it wouldve been better. Something like 30 maybe? And in the space battles, that maybe the computers were smarter, and that you can have the friendly ship fighters follow you in space, know what i mean?

In Space Battles There Should have been "At Least" 2 ships for each team

I mean if u see Star Wars Ep III

Theres like 50 ships out there in a total war zone with things blowing up and flying all over the place!

and the ships get all close up and just blast each other at point blank range

I also think that instead of taking out those "vital" things on the ships like the communication array, etc. That after you take out the ship, you can also shoot at the ship and make explosions on it, have the parts you shot catch on fire. Untill the whole ship explodes. Then its off to the second ship it would be cool. The point blank range also, imagine getting ready to hop on the fighter and leave but get stuck in there cause the ship is block your way ould and is opening fire on the hangar....

"Dear Battle Front Makers,


I have been playing both Star Wars Battle Front 1 & 2 and wasn't very happy with it.
First of all, the game did not have any camouflage which annoyed me a lot
I have to run around in a white suit in a jungle.What ever happened to the swamp troopers? Sure the snipers have some camo but it looked pretty cheesey and he was the only one who had it.Its like going to to war wearing black in Antarctica and theres only one lucky guy that can hide. It isnt very fair.

Secondly, the battles in space werent very exciting.. Sure i was able to do tricks and land in the docks and that was all great but, you could have At least put 2 ships for each team. Did any of you see Star Wars Ep. 3? How many ships were out there? It was an incredible amount of ships out there fighting each other at point blank range with things flying every where. It was truly amazing to see.
But in the game.. Only 2 little ships floating in space. You couldnt even blow it up !?


I have no clue what the hell you guys were thinking but the game was truly a disappointment. You missed what really made the movie glow. All the action, music, and sights. Were you afraid computers couldnt handle it or some thing?

I just hope Battle Front 3 isnt like this..

---P.S: Why is the gun that you see on the case not being used by the clone troopers? The only troopers that have the big guns are the old clones ones from Episode II arent the troopers from Episode III holding the new guns that they are going to be using during the Empire times?

I loved Battlefront 1 and 2. I even bought 2 myself and I played the hell out of it. Too bad the online was so laggy, but it sure was fun. I was pretty good at that game.

I hope the next gen version has saber controls like Jedi academy just obviously tons better. And I long for realistic ligthsaber battles. I'm talking Obi-Wan vs. Anakin type of ligthsaber battles where the sabers connect and you two do all sorts of crazy fighting shit, that'd be cool. Instead of just slashing sabers and waiting for one to get hit.

Well, LucasArts are definelty deving a lightsaber game for the Wii!!!!!!! Now that would be very very cool.

Also I wish that they would do an updated version (just graphics not gameplay) of Tie Fighter that came out in the early 90's. That was easily one of the best ever games.

For those to young to remember, you played a recruit to the Imperial Navy, chasing Rebel Scum, checking cargo, taking out pirates, then things got real interesting. If you were real good, you got to join 'The Emporers Hand' on secret missions with cool craft. The space battles were real big!

But for big 'ole space battles try Freespace 1 & 2 (if you can find it - it's as rare as all hell these days). It still has a very serious hardcore following even though it's been out for years.

I've played both those games and can honestly say I've wasted many weekends playing TIE fighter games. I think around the time PS2 came out I was still playing that... It's so arcadey fun.

Freespace 2 was a really good game also, never had the chance to play one. At first I had no clue what the hell I was doing but when I got the hang of it it was really fun. Especially escorting huge ass ships through nebulas... fun.

There was going to be a SW mod for HL2 if anyone remembers... dont know what happene to it now. Dont even remembe the name.

Tie fighter was TRULY awesome, I loved it. Also the prequel, Xwing, was fantastic, although some of the missions were bordering on impossible.


Xwing vs tie fighter.... what a dissapointment that was, I think that killed off doing any more sequels it was that bad.
