View Full Version : Now that I have an xbox 360...
Ok I just got it today and it's a lot of fun. I got gears of war rainbow 6 and dead rising. The one issue I have is that it's really hard to aim is there a particular method that's the most effective?

Dude, which game is it hard to aim in?
For gears of war, put the obscenely large reticule over the enemy and fire. Best done if you aren't moving. For the sniper rifle do the same thing except with more precision. Stay away from the glowing wretches after you've killed them.
Rainbow six: Don't autofire unless you're really really close to someone. Or using a p90. The MTAR is an autoaiming beast, and the mp9 kicks a reasonable amount of ass as well. Again, not moving or moving slower = better aiming. For easy kills stay back around a corner and wait for some poor bastard to run down the hallway. Then pop out and shoot him in the chest/neck/head.
Dead rising: Umm, put the little circle on the zombie's head and fire? With the shotgun it's easier to just spray without really aiming, by which I mean let go of the movement stick and stand still. Guns are best left for killing the psychos and giving to those dumb shits they call 'survivors' since there are so many reasonably good melee weapons.
--Rent ' The Darkness ' once you've played through those three. Also crackdown might be worth a purchase. Dirt's pretty fun too, feels like just the right amount of arcadey I Just Want To Race And Not Worry About Stupid Sim Shit combined with some Stupid Sim Shit that you only need to play with if you feel like it.
- Darkness is only an 8-10 hour play through, and try to do as much of it as you can consecutively because that way the story will have the most impact.

He probably finds it hard to use the analog stick... It's actually quite sensitive now, going from Xbox to Xbox 360 you'd notice there's a HUGE difference. Just be careful with it, there's no need to smash it to the sides and stuff.

It might take some time but using the joystick will become second nature.
