Online with 360?

I'm pretty sure that this is going to be released for 360, is it not?

Well I was wondering if there has been any news of being able to play Xbox Live players from your PC, like they are going to be doing with Shadowrun and TF2.

yes, its going to be on the 360. dunno about cross over play tho. i doubt it personally.

but im biased. as my only time ever spent on xbox live i was insulted for a good 30 min by 15 year olds, i would hope they keep that community away from my pc gaming experiance.

Yeah, i don't even have an xbox, but all my friends do, so it would be amazing if we could all play this game.

And the whole xbox live community isn't like that, they're just like the CS community, it all depends on the person you end up playing with. It would be good if you could filter out servers with xbox or PC players though.

IGN's latest article on TF2 shows that they have the technology to play PC vs X360.. so the possibility is there.

Yes, it will have online. And since more people on XBL have a headset, teamwork will be much easier. Of course, that also means that there will be more idiots, but hey, that's what we have the "mute" option for :)

You're right. We'd be too busy laughing at how you'll have to upgrade again in a year while we'll be playing essentially the same games without having to upgrade anytime in the next 5 ;)

I'm a big Xbox Live fan, I loved Mechassault and playing on Live.. it's just so comfortable playing online sitting on a nice couch. Everybody having voice comm is really nice too.

I haven't bought an X360 yet, probably will for Christmas this year so I can play some L4D and Mass Effect.
