ummm, if anyone enjoys gh series i thought we could talk about how good u are or whatever and if anyone is excited about this game

i already know everything that has been released so far about 3, so i guess im kinda obsessed but whatever...
the more i write this the more it feels like a really stupid thread...oh well im makin it anyway lolz

im really good at this game

i play on expert but i cant beat jordan omg its so hard if u want to see go to youtube and search for " jordan expert" and u will see the pain and suffering...
except those ppl actually beat the song somehow

From my friends and I's experiences playing Guitar Hero 2... It is a very hazardous game when you get into it. My friend dislocated his knee jumping off the couch while playing Iron Man at the hardest difficulty (not even a difficult song, being an actual guitar player the game was actually HARDER for me though)

its fun but real guitar is so much different

some of my friends can play it with there eyes closed because they know the song by heart

yeah most ppl say that(dontleave, about the real guitar) ...i wish i could play real guitar cuz its more fun but id rather not put in the money that i dont have to get a guitar, amp, lessons ect...
so i satisfy myself with this game...

i play it every day...havent yet today so i will later lol
i play sweet child o' mine every day cuz i try to do better on it

and now there making this new game (different developers, no relation to GH)

its called rock band and u can play guitar, bass, drums, and vocals all at once with friends
and the guitar actually looks real tho, and the colors on the frets are less noticable...there are also 5 more frets at the other side for high-pitched solos

I just picked up Guitar and really most of my instruments when I get bored... soo uhh, smash that xbox 360 up and get bored... Seriously guitar I picked up when I used to suck at ut04... just played it in between deaths.

Sweet Child o' Mine is apparently the easiest song in the game, I don't have it though, I always play at my friends house and I never seem to notice that song go around. But my friends always braggin' he played that song on hardest and every one would say "yeah cuz' thats the easiest song"

Good song though, one of my favorites.

Real guitar impresses the ladies a hell of alot more haha (don't think you'll be able to play sweet child of mine after 1 day of practice tho heh). I have GH1 and GH2 but for the sole purpose of drunken parties (actually I broke 2 whammy bars on my controllers this way)... I don't play it by myself. And like Frogo said - it's definetly a percussion instrument... it's all about getting the right rhythm and learning the pattern fast enough - no real skill involved : P It actually hurt my guitar playing a little haha until I started playing the damn thing with a pick (broke 2 picks doing this too).

I love GH, I can beat all songs on expert... except Jordan ;_; Yea, way too horrible. I'm one of those people that are good, but not one of them who tries ridicolously hard to get the 5 star and knows exactly what they have to nail for this score and bla bla bla. I like to play for fun, but shooting for a better score is good too =]

And no, Rock Band is being made by a seperate team, not the ones who did the GH games.
