First of all, you don't BURN them to your hard disk, second of all, it still requires the disk to verify you truly have the game...

ok it does not burn it it basicly saves all the info onto your xbox but it hogs up an assload of space. so if i rent it for however much money i cansave alot. and yes i can turn off my xbox. have you tried it. no thats what i thought so shut up unless you actually know somthing about it so what i pay 9 buks

Yeah, surprisingly MS thought of that and decided to make it so you couldn't steal games. Even if you install it to your HD, you can't run it without the disc in the 360.

It doesn't spin the DVD drive so the system runs MUCH quieter. Also, you might see a little better loading times. Really, did you think they would release a feature that would enable software piracy? That wouldn't be very smart on their part, now would it?
