What developer news on new content for the 360? Timeline.

I'm already itching for more levels to play through. I'd drop a decent amount of coin on them. I really hope they release them incrementally instead of waiting for a giant update.

I'm curious as well, can we expect to see additional campaigns as DLC for the 360 in the future? I'd be willing to pay for those as well. Been having a blast with this game.

I to wish for more maps, but thank God for the ai director not making it to linear, otherwise i would be screwed.

If it's like TF2, don't keep your fingers crossed...

Valve announced they were sorry with TF2 updates, and promised that L4D won't be like that.
Thar ye go. I expect a new campaign on Christmas. Valves X-Mas present?

I doubt it. I'm sure the PC will get them first, probably for free. But never say never!

I think Valve said early next year, so January or February? I think they are doing an uber update with the Medic, Pyro, and Heavy updates all as one.

I think VALVe said that they would have to charge MS points for the update unfortunately, so they'll be releasing it once they give people their moneys worth.

While VALVe takes forever, they ALWAYS deliver.

Very true. Shame that Microsoft is making xbox players pay for the content.

I don't mind paying for updates. Even the small ones... Just so long as I get constant DLC and don't have to wait 6 months for it.

Are you really that naïve? Never believe that a company wants to do something out of charity, there is always a catch!

I don't see any reason why it would take longer for the Xbox 360 version to get DLC. (And just because it happened to TF2 isn't one.)

Well, they first have to make all the maps for the PC versions, test them, improve them, then send them to the xbox guys who have to port all of it over, then send it to microsoft and argue for billing, then figure out a release date.

If they wanted to charge for DLC on the PC, they could just plop it on steam as soon as they are done with it.

Am I the only person who does not care if they charge a little for a map update?

I'll pay 15 bucks for a bunch of new maps for a game that I like ($15? What is that, two meals at McDonalds? A small micky of vodka? Two packs of smokes?).

Especially if part of the money goes back to Valve and supports their families.

Jesus guys, it's like the first month it's been out, and you are already talking about DLC!
Although I would like to have Dead Air/Death Toll on versus by X-Mas. :)

I'd drop down any amount of money on extra DLC. I feel right now that the game needs a lot more content to even feel complete.
