Hot damn, what a rush.
We played the game with Charlie Burgin, one of the guys who made Left 4 Dead. He chose to be one of the survivors, Francis to be specific.
Right away, we could tell he knew what he was doing. He was kicking ass right off the bat, but we knew we had to give him a run for his money.
We chose to play on 'No Mercy'. Right away they ran through the apartments ripping people apart, so we wasted no time rushing him with everything we had. Quickly, we had taken one of them down, and there was three to go. They got outside and ran through the alley quickly, knowing that they had no time to waste. Once outside they got a horde, and we rushed in. Lowered their health a bit, but no big damage. Charlie was taking us down left and right, and ended up blowing my head off as I was leaping towards him as a hunter.
Three of them ran to the saferoom, so we knew we had to do something. Before we could come up with a quick plan, the 'Tank is approaching' screen popped up. The tank rushed in and took them down on the stairs leading down to the saferoom, and we went for the kill. Two were down, one was dead, and one was in the saferoom. We backed off for a bit and let them bleed out so the last person would come out. As soon as the door opened, a hunter pounced on him and got us the win.
Now out turn as survivors. Right off the bat we decided it would be best to rush as fast as possible to get ahead of them. We were through the apartment before we knew it, with Charlie in hot pursuit. We got out into the street and a tank showed up. It tossed a car and flattened out two of us. Two kept on running, leaving our teammates behind as they tried to distract the tank. We made a run to the finish and another person was taken down by a boss infected. I got into the door and slammed it shut just as more came, and we ended up winning the round.
I'll finish the write up later, right now we have to play with Jason Mitchell! :)
