View Full Version : Something you should not do at the finale....even on easy mode!!!!

I had tried to get the achievement when you shoot 1000 infected on No mercy rooftop finale or just kill many infected as i can in 1 playthrough only to find a terrible fate when you don't get to the chopper. Tanks will keep spawning quickly!!!! and I'm not lying 3 tanks were chasing me at the same time so i jumped off the building and died due to fear.. What would you do to get this achievement if you didn't have it? If it was your only shot at the finale?

Red mist adds up, you dont need to kill 1000 infected with a mini gun at one time.

you don't have to do it at the finale but where a mounted gun is visible... but you'll kill more at the finales.. but that is what i have experienced by doing that staying longer than i should... The A.I director spawns multiple Tanks in seconds! and that is SCARY!

I wish i had a capture card! at that moment i was screaming like a girl!! that was my first instinct! jump off the building!! there was no way in hell i was going to make it!!! let alone the waves of the common infected! THE A.I director was upset at me!!!

Actually I'm calling BS. Sounds more like whoevers game you were in got fed up with you sticking on the gun and holdng everyone up so he spawned tanks around you.

I've stuck around after the finale, lasted a few mins before I got grabbed by a smoker and pounced. Only one tanked spawned, and I killed it, and no others spawned.

Edit: And I just noticed this is in the 360 section. I don't know then, maybe it's just straight BS, or you had a bad night with the director.

I think your talking about the Red Mist Achievement, It stacks,

Everytime you kill a zombie with the turret, it goes to your achievement box and adds up.

So say you play one time and kill 100 zombies with the turret, you got 100
So Say you play a second time, and kill 50 zombies with the turret, you got 150,
and it just adds up until you get 1000

Play with me sometime and i guarantee multiple tanks will respawn on the finale of No mercy if you survive long enough even on easy. I was just playing around to see what will happen if you didn't jump on the helicopter and got what i deserved!!!! on xbl i am TWE SHELLSHOCKR..

Went on easy with 4 friends to see how long we could last on the no mercy finale (this is on PC btw). We got about 5 minutes after the helicopter came before the tanks (3 at once) killed us to death. It was hilarious and gruesome all at once.

Oh, you mean red mist..... you dont have to do it in one campaign, nor do you have to with zombie genocidest.....just do as many campaigns as it takes until u get it, which isnt thaat hard with red mist

I'd rather have a water pistol. Watching as the zombies charged at you, only to skid right off the roof. Doing this with the tank would be instant winnage.

Man! That is a great idea. They should have a survival mode incorporated around such a thing, which would naturally record "best times/# of kills."

I saw it with my own eyes, and tood next to it on the chopper, as Chet destroyed infected with it.

It was removed some time before the demo was released.

I'm guessing that with everyone running towards the chopper, the chopper minigun was removed because the first guy there would try and "cover" his comrades but end up mowing them down.
