Patch Rants *Valve members better read*

Don't you all hate this one itsy bitsy thing? HAVING EVERYBODY LOAD A MAP AT DIFFERENT TIMES!?
This makes you go AFK automatically if you do not load it in time and makes you get taken over by a bot, happened twice so I didn't get DO NOT DISTURB, and AKIMBO ASSASSIN. Rant here if you are mad with this, and other major things that should be adressed in the next patch (1-2&1/2 weeks?) if you need to release some heat, or just want to get word out (which there probably is..).

lol! It depends on how fast your computer is!!! Do you really want to wait to play for a guy the plays on a 5 year old computer (est time 5-10 min) when loading a map?

Go out and buy some RAM so you load faster!!

You don't listen to yourself do you? First off, I can run L4D at all HIGH/VERY HIGH settings, Anti Aliasing at 8X CSAA, and maxed out filtering mode, and Vertical Sync at Triple buffered makes it run at 60 FPS, second of all.. America is in a Economic crisis, and maybe I don't have the money to upgrade my beast computer for no apparent reason.. Valve could simply make it so everybody loads at the same time, not too much to code, is there?

I don't know about STOMACH UPSET, I might try getting it later, but it is possible to also be affected by this.

All the computers could simply check off on a list once they are done loading completely, then the server will let you in the next area.

I did not say fancier graphics = faster load time. I said I run at almost maximum graphics just fine, and me and my friends usually get this problem a lot ONLY on Campaign finales. Also my problem is you usually need to be AFK more than 5 seconds in order to have a bot take over, usually 20 seconds or so.

First you tell us that you miss Akimbo because of long loading time and then you tell us that you want the waiting period for everyone (You didn't answer my question) And NOW you tell us you load the map in 10 secs.... What is wrong with you?

Second of all, I have personally never witnessed it, but I play on the 360 and the load times on the 360 and PC are probably different. But if this is happening, you should seriously e-mail VALVe about this, as this is affecting achievements.

Completely agree! I had to do ALL the campaigns in singleplayer for this to get the achievements, also akimbo assassin.

It's not all about the computer, sometimes it takes longer to join certain server.

you join the game 5 seconds later, you won't get the achievements, simple as that.

Yes I am. In his posts he stated that people had trouble loading which disabled certain achievements so he brought up a simple suggestion. You could've politely pointed out what was wrong in his suggestion, but seeing as you have a monitor to hide behind, decided to be a dick.

He stated he missed the mark once to miss two achievements, and it annoyed him. Aside from that it loads 10-12 seconds to him. His suggestions may prevent it from happening to him or others in the future.

Somehow I have a feeling Cyruz that your avatar isn't too far from how you look and act in real life.
