agree ith him, i have the lg dare as well, but i also have a iphone, and it makes a much better flashlight. there is actually a flashlight app.

I am still searching, I know there are good ones because I have seen them, one guy had a cell phone with a good flashlight, it was a new model, but I forgot to ask which one was it... we were camping and he used it all the night :/

Anyways, the only phone with a flashlight that I've used is one of those crappy little prepaid throwaway phones. The phone itself was garbage, but it works really well as a flashlight.

Mine has a reeeeeally bright backlight.
I use it as a flashlight, but I'm sure that's not what you meant.

I had a flashlight on a pre-paid phone once, it was a shitty Kyocera model and it was only a led light, but it worked fairly well. I actually had a buddy with a slightly newer model and it was even brighter.

If you want it to go camping with it, which I gather you do from the lovely story above, why not just get a torch?
It'd be better than a little one on a phone, and then you can get any phone you want regardless of lighting.
