I actually have 5 band invitations, because I'm very good, this was just after 5 hours of screaming straight due to I had a band practice. And after 5 hours of punishment your mom can tell you, your throat has trouble talking let alone screaming.

Ohh ok, i live in california, i don't really waste my time in whats popular in the area or go to find out whats going on locally, i'm just more of a blues and riff based rock man myself. It's cool its making a comeback though.

yeah, I'v been into it for a while, so like like to think before it coming back. But i like all genres of music. And its has evolved quite a bit since then.

Truth be told, the things holding it back were bands such as cannibal corps and Lamb of god.

i know right, all i wanted to do is make sure there Christmas was the best it could be, it makes me sad inside.

Are we talking real Screamo like Orchid and Circle Takes the Square or are we talking stuff like Atreyu or whatever?

Also the predominant popular genres of the day from my experience are:

- Mainstream, simplistic Rap and its various similar musical manifestations.
- More accessible incarnations of Indie Pop, Rock and Folk.
- Bad Pop and Soft Rock.
- Metal and Hardcore Lite, stuff like Dragonforce, HORSE the Band, Black Dahlia Murder, etc.

There's some good mainstream stuff though, of course. Feist makes some pretty delicious Indie Pop.
