Long story short, there is no official release date yet, although the creators have stated that they're aiming for a 2007 release. Any other thing you hear is fake.

i dont know, but at wikipedia, it says Q3 for PC, and Q4 for Xbox 360. PC Gamer said something about a christmas release, which is more likely.
