I've just read news that someone found a way to hack the X360 version of L4D online and its griefing players with insane ammounts of witches and tanks in a map. Check out the article here:

Here is a video of what the griefers have been able to do:

Hopefully with enough promotion, Valve will address this soon so that the online experience is not affectd for many people.

So someone found out how to use the console and its commands on the 360.
No way...
Come on, why do people feel the need to do that? Let's ruin the fun for everyone, right?

I guess they hook up a keyboard or something like that to the XBox 360. Can taht be done? Because that is the only way the could enter code into the console.
I'm not sure if I agree that they should lock that up completely, I mean, after all, we can do whatever we want locally in our PC. So why should it be any different with the X360. I just think they should not permit it for online play.

So it looks like Valve stupidly left the console commands in the Xbox version.
Oh well, I play with mostly friends anyways.

Thanks for the link.
I did search for it, because I knew that someone would point that out if it was mentioned before, and I couldn't find any threads about it.

Well the specific words to use with the search are kind of hit or miss, so it happens.

Mostly because they want to become a "legend", when really they just look like idiots.
They didn't support TF2 on the 360 and the online community virtually died'
Completely true. I tried Orange Box on the 360 and there was ONE game. I think me, and the guy that made that game were the only ones playing.

Very lamentable. I hope this prompts Valve to release security updates for the 360, along with regular fixes that the PC has recieved.

I find it hillarious that he got the achievement "dead stop" at the start.

I hope they leave it in on single player, just because I want to mess around with zombies.
