Rageing yourself (photoshop)

Hey this is my first attempt at doing the 28 days Rage-eye effect on myself with photoshop, it's quite difficult seeing as there are no tutorials on the net that I could find. Anyways tell me what you think, if you want to know what I did I'll be glad to elaborate. Also if you do know of a tutorial or something to get better results I'd be glad to know.

I just copied a 28 days picture really, drop shadow around the schlera with like lines going in, a reddish orange to yellow gradient and some blurring, dust & scratches and shizz :P
