Jay Leno will be leaving "The Tonight Show" at the end of May 2009 and is leaving it in the hands of Conan O'Brien.

So Jimmy Fallon is taking over the Late Night Show (Conan's show).. How do you guys feel about that?

Personally, I don't think Fallon even compares to Conan. I thought his career on SNL was alright. Taxi sucked ass though.

i think jimmy will do fine, way too many people hate on him for making some wack movies but as a show host i could see some funny stuff coming out of it, also Conan is gonna be great.

I've watched Conan for years and he always has something new... Jay tends to stick to the headlines and jaywalking segments. Conan was a writer for SNL so he is able to think up a lot of his own stuff. When the writers went on strike he kept doing the show and it was still funny.

Jay is supposed to be hosting another show that comes on at 10... not sure how that will work out.

I think this is a horrific decision. Conan is aimed at teens and twenty year olds. Jay is aimed at older people. I don't think its going to work. I like jay more than conan though.

I don't think that I've ever laughed at Leno. Not once. And I've watched it enough to see interviews of people that I like.

Anyway, I revived this because Conan O'Brien is celebrating his final 10 episodes. I believe he has eight left. Every night he shows some of the best clips from throughout the years, and they are pretty hilarious.

So...

NBC (the network I will never watch again) has given Jay Leno his old Tonight Show back, and completely booted Conan O'Brien from hosting ANY Late Night programs. The thing is, Conan O'Brien got BETTER ratings than Jay's first 7 months. The whole reason NBC started this bullshit was because Jay Leno's show failed and he wanted the Tonight Show back. Since Jay Leno ended the Tonight Show with more viewers than Conan has currently (even though it's been less than a year), NBC has made the decision to completely get rid of Conan. In my opinion, they're being babies because Conan refused to host at 12:05am.
2010 is a pretty shitty year so far.

Fuck Jay Leno.
Fuck NBC.
I hope Conan O'Brien gets a better deal (hopefully not with Fox).

Fuck NBC. I have been a loyal watcher of Conan since his Late Nite show, and the fact that NBC gave a big fuck you to him really pisses me off. The best part is that Jay, who always came across like the nice guy, now looks like a complete ass. His prime time show failed, now he's crawling back to late night and gets Conan booted off his new show that he's had less than a year.

Conan O'Brien has a different sense of humor than other Late Night talkshows, and he appeals more to a younger audience. I think you guys would like him if you watched at least one of his shows. He got pretty fucked over on this and I will dream of murdering Jay Leno every night for the rest of my life.

The dickheads at NBC are fucking themselves worse then they are fucking over Conan in all of this. The Tonight Show had bad ratings because of Leno's shitty attempt at comedy, and now everybody wants tie his chin to a car and drive for miles. So what the fuck are the executives at NBC smoking to make them think that giving Leno The Tonight Show will help boost ratings.
Despite this despicable douchebaggery, I think that it has allowed Conan to do some really funny stuff on his show. David Letterman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AK3T987jk8) and Jimmy Kimmel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joXYj2IoKXs) have never ceased showing how much of an asshole Leno has been.

Conan is coming to TBS, I'm sure you all know by now. His show begins November 8th. He's been doing quite a bit in preparation for his new show, including using a "Conan Blimp" which is flying all over America.
