"Gore" Effects and Hello

hey,im new to the forum and ive read much about L4D and i Cant wait 'til realese.
everything ive Read so far sounds Really awesome! i got a question Tho,will there be like "gore"effects like, you run thru a house,meet one of the infected aka Zombie and decides to Blow his friggin' leg off? will the leg fall off ? ive heard something like this before but dont really remember. and how many zombies will like "appear" at the same time max? are we talkin like...Dead rising many or like a big group of 20 ? Thanks :)

Would be cool if it had the same type of gore as Red Orchestra, decapitatable limbs etc.

In my time playing, I saw heads and limbs fly off and they could be seen on the ground. In regards to zombies on screen, try more like 40 on screen at one time.

hello and welcome kanelgiffeln well i'm sure that i read that u can blow off legs,arms,heads, n all that
but i have 1 little question for the frog or squerl or who ever: can u blow a hole in a zombie's chest like a total see through hole, or just a little dent kind of hole ?

And then squerl and I can be like "ugh what a noob, we got our first zombie kills months and months ago" :P

Lol I was the same when brain bread first came out for HL1...

Brain bread isnt anything like L4D...its for hl1... and its a mod....L4D is a stand-alone game and based on the source engine, Mods for Hl1 isnt something to get excited for. this is...cuz as many others,ive been waiting and waiting for a game like this for so long. i really think Trs are going to "succed" with this one. Thats my opinion tho. Haha Frog :P yee maybe..but...you didnt do a head-shot on ur first kill! hah ! :)

Yeah... I know that, and people get excited for whatever they want, you can tell because this forum doesn't have 6 billion registered members. I was just saying, I did the same thing when I had my first BB kill. And BB is special, its like the only living zombie mod for HL1.

yee..maybe,but bb...its still HL1 and i dont think like,hl1 mods and stuff are so good...i wouldnt get excited about a new HL1 mod. its not such a big "deal"...its bad graphics bad AI and effects and all...Hl1 aint that good but i have followed the HL Series tho :P and sure they are fun sometimes. and i eaisly get bored of Mods Like BB. BUt i like Co-op based games Tho,i like to team up and Cooperative with players. And since the only thing thats near a story in L4D is Based on Co-op,i think it will be good...and there's Zombies in it ;) always nice to blow a zombies leg off when u are a bit stressed of the situation when the only way out alive is to shoot wildy around u :P
