Yes, I have in fact and do in fact have Cynic Paradise. Thank you for reminding me. :)

Keep goin' dudes.

A lot of these bands won't really be familiar unless you're deep into whatever genre they are. So don't feel bad.

Slipknot - All Hope is Gone

GREAT ALBUM.

Metallica - Death Magnetic

No thanks... Metallica just seems to lose a little more with each album.

Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight

They've sold out.

Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy

Heard a few songs off of it and it's definitely worth looking into.

Marnie Stern- This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That

The title mindfucked me...

All That Remains - Overcome

Slipknot - All Hope is Gone

GREAT ALBUM.

I have to agree and disagree.

Some songs are great, because they dont sound like the other ones and they kinda got a new tone and clang to it. But some are just horrible.

I admit, it's a new direction for Slipknot and I was shocked at first, but they've proven they can do fast, heavy and brutal, and also make light and deep songs.

Yea Slipknot is definitely in my Top 10 right now with All Hope Is Gone... I still need to check out 9.0 Live...

Yeah dude im telling you, it is so fucking awesome. I mean, their best 25 top frickin' songs on 1 album, packed with ultimate audience power. One thing that bring this album to the top is the audience. I mean they are so, uhm (Don't know the words in english), but they sing along with the song in a great way, and all that shit, you can really feel the power.

If you want i could list the songs thats in the album.

Like any Iron Maiden concert is what I'm thinking of. An energetic crowd really can enhance the performance so much. As for the song list, I think I'll just look it up on Itunes later, but I'm hoping they have (Sic) on it. I'd love to hear it live... Also was this before or after they released Vol. 3?

(SIC) is on it man, and its frickin' love.

And yes, its 1 year after Vol. 3, so you can just imagine how great 9.0 Live is ;)

It's probably like an orgy in my ears.

It sure is, and the best part is that they have really picked out the top 25 songs. Atleast MY 25, and every song on that damn album is just fucking awesome. Can't get any better dude.

Please don't do that, or this thread will turn into a flame fest.

its good too see other people dig bands like Genghis Tron, and the Mars Volta, way too many people just automatically hate music thats different.

I really like what they are doing with their longer songs, it's nice to hear experimentation that sounds good.

2. The Killers - Day & Age
Egh, it was ok. I mean, the first couple songs are pretty good, once we get to A Dustland Fairytale it starts to go downhill for me. Hot Fuss was an amazing first album for a band, but Sams Town didn't live up to the hype. This album is better than Sams Town, but i think they are still having trouble deciding what they want to sound like.

1. Radiohead - In Rainbows

I should check this out...

2. The Killers - Day & Age

Doesn't appeal to much to me. They've gotten a lil different.

3. Metallica - Death Magnetic

I've said it before I'll say it again. Metallica is going downhill with every new album.

I was hyped up for it at first but after hearing it it was really mediocre, and compared to their old stuff I just couldn't stand it...
