I've seen this before. I'd rather go with the original unreal tournament and its millions of mods. I have a zombie mod for it that literally spawns in thousands of zombies at once. I don't usually survive.

The original UT has everything!

hl2 is the most popular for mods, but it is the least moddable game ever. In all unreal tournament games you can just make a mutator that adds to the gameplay instead of making a whole new mod. Valve, start adding mutators!

Not a big fan of Killing Floor, as the zombies were ridiculously tough and wouldn't die however much you pumped into them, and I'm not a fan of the whole invasion type gameplay with zombies. I'd much rather have an actual objective rather than sitting around waiting to die while trying to take out a few zombies before the inevitable. :)

Some of the levels were pretty atmospheric on the plus side though.
