View Full Version : Weird Error that Tried to Eject the Disk

Ok, weird I know, but this does not happen when I play solo with no internet connection. I just want to know if I'm crazy.

Sometimes when I'm logged on and playing in a room, my 360 will go black and the button will start blinking. (Heart attack, yes.)

I will then go to a status display and it will say "disk ejecting". (It never does.)

Is someone f**king with me, or what? This NEVER happens with other games or L4D off-line. Anyone else?

Yeah. Yeah, its ok. A 360 is just a PC with a fancy shell. Too bad Mac didn't make them.

THAT should start a fire of a totally different type.

Deek: Possibly, but it only happens with the one game, and only online. Once it goes dead again and they don't pay for the repair, I'm going to lock that heatsink DOWN.

I'm perfectly happy to MAKE Microsoft PAY for putting too small a heatsink into a perfectly good machine. >:)

Have you tried using a different L4D disc? If nothing else, you'll know if it's your xbox's fault for sure.

Hmmm... live in a small town. I'd have to rent one. :-/

Oh, yeah, and when I say "flashing", I just mean the small green symbol in the middle. (Like it really is ejecting.) Nothing red; ring or otherwise. Well, we'll see what happens in the next two weeks. Especially in 7 days when my vacation starts. :)
