How can I get these to work as a spray?

Get the .tga and put it in the steamapps/commons/left4dead/left4dead folder (for simplicity) and the go into L4D, go to Multiplayer and change the spray.

Using a .png is more complicated, so you'll have to ask these guys for the .tga if you want one as a spray.

Hit download, open the .rar file with winrar (ect ect) and extract the .tga's to where Steve said.
