Sound Problem!

i downloaded a shotgun skin and it dosent work on dedicated servers and it ill have old shotgun floating in air so i found no solution exept to reinstall l4d so i did that and now i cant hear survivor voices music or any infected
does anyone know what to do?

And you've checked to make sure your sound is turned on in the options right?

acculy i found out music files are missing and cant find them anywere not even in recycle bin!!
