Panic Moments, what would YOU do?

Your running away from a horde of zombies, you've lost one fellow survivor, all of you are low on health, You dont have time stop and think, While running through an apartment building, the survivor behind you gets caught by more than a couple of infected, The other survivor splits, trying to save his own skin from the horde and maybe get to the near by checkpoint. You only have a split second to choose, would you take the time to run away, while infected rip him to shreds, or would you try to defeat the horde,save your friend, and try to catch up to the survivor, all against the impossible odds?

(Dunno if this would be a common scenario in L4D, You think players would really leave eachother behind if they knew the checkpoint was near? I'd for sure be panicing though!)

well if i am low on ammo i will just tryand find a door then lock it and try to fight my way around to my fallen commerads and catch up to the other survivor and i like ur clan name stupoider may i be a honeray member of the DnP when it comes to?

In most situations, you want to save the team mate because you can bet that that player will be saving you in return. However, given that all dead players respawn at checkpoints, if you see the door it might be a good time to get in and shut that door. Just remember to open it if the player actually manages to get away :). It might not be the bravest move, but it works.

I'm generally a nutcase in these situations and would try to save him, but honestly, if you're near the checkpoint and he dies, he comes back when you reach it anyway.

Since the other team mate is allready running to the checkpoint id go and try to save our other guy, cos if i died and he did make it to the checkpoint id respawn with half health n e way XD

If it were me, I would run. I figure the other guy may think he knows where the next checkpoint is, for that I am sure he does. But if a Hunter/Smoker takes out the other idiot that decided to split up, Even though the testers of the game ADVISE you to STAY together, then you will have to be with him to stop the boss infected from screwing the whole plan up

Besides, why did the 3rd survivor be so stupid as to get caught :P

hmm i think i would do the &quot;stand and fight&quot; kinda thing, stand still on same spot and shot every zombie u see,why? cuz then i would hope that the dude who ran away gotta atleast have a clue where the checkpoint is so i would hold back the zombies,cuz then i might hold em back til i know what to do next. and if i would get beaten to death,i had given the runner a chance to get to Checkpoint and we all respawn ^^ like sacrifice my selfe for the other guys :) (sorry for my bad english.)

I honestly think it's a better idea to just run for your life. If the other guy got separated, good luck to him, but there's better off being one missing survivor than two. Unless all three of us agreed to go after him, I wouldn't be risking the whole team on a senseless &quot;Raaambo!&quot; situation.

Unless he stole my wallet before he ran off, because then it'd be &quot;Zombie Hunter&quot; hunting time.

It really would depend on the size of the horde, Id take a quick look around, try to get a general idea of infected in the area, HUGE horde = OMFG RUN!, Tiny horde= Its worth a try, chaaarge!
