The father was shot once in the face, the mother 3 times (the shots went through her arms because she reflexively defended herself with them).

His sister then came over, saw this and he fled in a car. Police were called, he was arrested. At first he tried to say his father did it and then killed himself, but he eventually confessed.

Exactly, in this case I would say it was not the fault of the game at all. His father could have taken a book or a movie away from the kid and it said the kid hadn't even played the game, he had just come in the door from buying it.
