So i sent in my xbox 1 month ago they got it that same week, they fixed it in 2 days, so that took one week they said they were going to send it back that sunday, but i havn't recieved my tracking number yet and im pissed off because i wanna play my left for dead ive only been able to play it at my sisters wich is 1 hour away its so fucking annoying!!
I fucking hate microsoft im sticking to local repairs from now on ill pay the $60

I got the RROD on Nov 30th, sent it in on the 3rd of December, and still haven't gotten it back. The website says it is under repairs. Just so long as I get it back by Christmas, I will be happy.

Sometimes, you're better off just going in to a best buy, saying that the system is defective, and exchanging it for a new one right there.

I got a PS3 that was broken, so I sent it in to sony and got a new PS3 about 1 1/2 weeks later. Now it works perfectly.

Also, I don't trust Xbox 360 with its non-free online and its RROD and its lack of creativity. Most games are like an action movie on it.

My xbox broke about 5 weeks ago, and the warranty is voided because I have owned it for a year.

What pisses me off is that the extended 3 yr warranty only covers consoles that are a victim to the RROD, not the singular red light that I got.

So now I have to find the $130 needed to fix the fucking thing and this is the second time my xbox has broke, so even after they fixed the first problem, it fucked up again and now I have to pay for it.

Why didn't they fix it better those greedy motherfuckers!
And why aren't other faults in the hardware covered by the extended warranty, it's a load of CAT SHIT BULLSHIT!

What are you talking about, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is on the PS3 and the graphics are quite better.

On topic, my 360 got the red ring thing but I just left it off for a day and the next day it worked fine. I have a fan blowing on it whenever it's on now and I haven't had any problems with it since then.

i bought my 360 at best buy and got their warranty. they're pretty damn awesome with broken 360s. i've had quite a few broken ones and they let me trade them in with no questions asked. even give me a new controller and headset every time. so eh, yeah, i suggest best buy for 360s.

I got a 360 on release, few months down the road, RROD, got it back, five months later, RROD again... sent it in. just a couple months ago RROD. i'm sure it will happen again. at least they got it back to me quicly, abou a week and a half each time. next time i'm demanding free stuff =P or atleast an upgrade to a new version with HDMI.
