okay, so apparently the PC has had the witch bitch-slap exploit removed, so... where is the fix for 360? All it would take is a little patch and she would be a bit scarier and more than a slight inconvenience. It kinda bugs me.
(360 forum btw, all I'm asking is whether or not anyone knows when we're getting patches. please don't start a console-war)

Nope no patches until Valve makes a HUGE update for entire game E.I. New Campaign, New Infected, New Weapons. Thank Bill Gates for that.

There is a difference between game patches and content updates on the 360. Valve can issue a patch much more easily than add maps, so they shouldn't have to wait.

I assume they don't want the effort involved of certification etc etc.

The sv_cheats fix was a server side patch, and so was only fixed on dedicated servers. It may also fall outside of Microsoft bound certification as they're Valve run.

When they fixed the Servers of sv_cheats, they said they would soon release a fix for the 360 itself. I'll bet they are throwing in a bunch of fixes instead of just one.
Patience my child.

Well the TF2 update is kinda late so I'm expecting this and the next set of maps etc, to be late. Why Valve why I want to eat the heavy's sandwich. =(

new infected? new weapons? really? I like the pared down and well thought up format we have now, don't need a rocket launcher or a new type of bubble gum blowing screamer-zombie.

I don't like Bill Gates either

Nobody likes Bill Gates. My only objection to weapons is it'd be cool to have a bigger variety, if only 1 or 2 more choices, of pistol.

They probably want to make a slightly bigger patch then send it off to Microsoft and have someone ignore it for a few weeks before certification/release.

Also my guess is that the new weapons will be reskins of what we already have then just randomly replaced on the maps.

No... new content will be labeled "new content", as in new maps, campaigns, skins, etc... That will probably cost a couple of bucks.

Updates are free and you get them all the time. You put in a disk, and when it boots (when connected to the internet), it will say "An update is available. Do you wish to continue"... Y/N.

"When download finishes, your 360 may restart." Bar fills up, and off you go.

There are little update/patches ALL the time on 360 community. Patches and Content are two totally different animals.

Yeah, for some reason some games update a lot more then others, all depends on the developer.
