Film your first game.. Again

Well ages ago i read a thread saying about how we should all film our very first game.. un edited just for fun!

Im making this thread so we can all remember about it so we can film it :P

I don't have a capture card so if you could actually record that'd be totally awesome. I'd love to remember our first team game.

actually i don't, i'd just set up a video camera in the center of the screen. kinda GHETTO but if it's stationary and i gots my surround sound up (which I will probably blasting 28 weeks later music) then there will be sound also.

Wouldn't it be much less of a HDD space hog to just record demo's? Much easier to upload too. Assuming were talking about the PC version because fraps was mentioned, and also assuming the demo system will even be functional in l4d with the masses of zombies, etc.

If demo's work, I plan on recording a demo, if not I'll probably use fraps.

I was referring more to recording the director decisions etc. but after thinking about it a little more, it wouldn't record that unless it was a server demo. And the director shouldn't be too complex for it to record anyway.

You will, because your teamates will die then you wont live on your own.

You can be very determined but you have to trust your teamates too, not just thinking your going to make it because if their gone, your gone.

that's the cool thing, this game is so cool that guaranteed the last guy alive won't be alive more than like 30 seconds to a minute with so many infected/bosses

Does anyone else think a &quot;Demo's &amp; Replays&quot; board would be usefull? (after release of course) People could upload their demo's to a free file host, or their videos to a file host/video site like youtube/stage6/etc. and link to them.

By file host I mean a competent one like filepanda.com which just makes you go to one page and click download. With no limits on downloads per day, etc.
i.e. Not one which sends you through three redirects full of ad's just to download a file. And then after all that says that you cant download because someone in your area has already downloaded your areas free download limit.

Yes, directly from the television to a videotape or to a DVD maybe, if you want a digital format just record the game with Fraps etc.

well you download Fraps. You set it up to your specs. You bind it to a key that you want in other words. You start to play a game of choice. and press the binded button to record the gameplay :D :P
