I think the unoptimized current version of GTA4 is the worst at the moment.

CRYSIS

REASON: EXTREME GRAPHICAL REALISM AND UNOPTIMIZATION

Clear Sky
Crysis
GTAIV

One of these three, only for the fact that they are so badly optimized that they probably need twice the hardware power they would need given a through optimization.

Clear Sky was built entirely for the PC and is well optimized. The engine is just very nice looking and just as buggy. Crysis I cant say. GTAIV was terribly optimized.

Here are some screenies.

Crysis vs GTA IV, Crysis is more demanding.

I get on average about 20fps more in GTA IV

I don't know why hasn't anyone mentioned L4D. It's the first game that I've seen so far that maxes out both cores of my Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz CPU. Even games like Crysis don't come even come close in terms of CPU usage.

GTA4 is probably more CPU & GPU intensive than L4D though.

Maybe because it's the first game you've seen that actually USES both cores?

It keeps lagging for me
Try formatting your hard drive. It's the only way to be sure.

Thats cuz your "hard drive" keeps "over heating".
By "hard drive", im using qoutations to suggest "your penis".

No, it's the first game that I've seen that MAXES both cores. Crysis doesn't, COD4 & 5 doesn't, Far Cry 2 doesn't, Mass Effect doesn't, Red Alert 3 doesn't.
