You could just go to www.canyourunit.com (http://www.canyourunit.com) and search for Left 4 Dead in the drop down box thing.

Hm........ i think it would play but i recomend starting on low quality then trying it on med and high and see which highest one u can play without lagging
EDIT:because im not sure.

No that won't run at all well it would but you would have EXTREME and I mean EXTREME lagg also lots of crashes.

I have a 2ghz duron with 3gb ram and a geforce 6600gt.. works fine.
Low settings perhaps but no lag and no crashes..
You should be fine.
