Tank spawning bug = Rage!!!

It happened to me today, it said that I would be Tank. Nicee! My team was getting a butt rape + sand + oil + hunter claw, but I was ready to spawn as Boomer, I spawned to the AI control Boomer and I would be Tank, but it didn't made me Tank as I did this in a "certain time", because it seems that if you spawn at the same time you will get Tank = glitch. Anyone suffered this?

Happened right when I got Left 4 Dead but its not like you know perfectly when to do it. It likes a one in a hundred glitch to get right.

Good to know, I never encountered this, though. I always spawn as soon as possible when I'm in Ghost mode and becoming the Tank, so the AI can take over the Boss I was playing before.

I had a glitch where it kept saying different people would be tank and no one ever was.

the tank is supposed to spawn b4 someone is assigned the tank. If tank never spawns, no one gets it.

Me too. I thought the server I was playing got bugged when this happened, it was on Bloodharvest finale before they press the radio

I believe i have an answer for this, I tested it and its 100% right!

What happens is.. if one of your infected side teamates is using the Cloning Glitch( btw this is an exploit which allows you to clone 5 or more hunters) then you wont get a tank even though it says you get one. because there is a maximum amount special infected allowed in game.

the game is not bugged, just some Cheating teamate who decided to abuse the console system to make it unfair of the other team.. as a result ruins the game and eventually bugged the server.

how do you do the cloning glitch, if it makes the other clones have AI then i could scared the crap out of my friend, he was scared the first time he saw an infected because he thought this was a non-violent game.....lol

edit: i dont think he noticed that guns are usualy hints of upcoming violence.....

Happened to me and thor on the finale of blood harvest. The tank never spawned and so the other team could never get the rescue vehicle to arrive. It was awesome.
