For those that didn't already know, you can pounce someone without having to crouch and wait for a 1 second timer:

I never would have thought of that. Awesome.
EDIT: I actually find it easier to simply use the pounce key. Although that might come in handy during certain situations.

Thanks, mlp_James.

It really kind of is. It's not a bug, but it is an exploit, which means I don't like it, and deem it as bad.

I'm unsure of whether this was intended or not, but for me it does add another nice element of stealth to the hunter.
I didn't do a whole lot of extensive testing on this while I was making the video, but I do remember there are a few limitations to jumping for a pounce.
The big one is that you can't do this while on fire, but that ruins the stealth element anyways.
The other is that you travel a lot farther if you do a normal charged pounce and wall jump off an object (because you can do charged pounces to walls a lot higher than you can jump) rather than simply jumping towards an object and wall jumping off it.

Well, it is obviously unfair, because the survivors would have to headshot you to kill you before you even do your smaller jump. The pounce was meant to have the charge timer to make it fair.

How do you know?

well you obviously have a nice nonsensical opinion there champ.
for one, as james stated, its not as lethal as a normal crouching pounce, so its not really over-powered.
for two, think of this a little more realistically. of course your going to jump higher and farther if you start in a crouched position in real life, but if you noticed, running up to a wall and kicking off of it acts similarly in real life and in the game, you get a quick and less-large pounce.
hey if it works in real life why not a game? physics ftw!

curious, its rarely possible to play 3rd person view with infected isnt it? Most servers have cheats turned off, and thirdperson constitutes as a cheat. I think I would play alot better as infected if I could see their entire body rather than through their eyes.

For a good glitch, start your own local server turn on cheats and enable thirdpersonshoulder then quit and join a regular server and its sometimes still enabled. Works for me 3/4 of the time.

Thirdpersonshoulder isn't a cheat, last time I checked.
