Everyone here talks about the infected in L4D as Zombies. But Zombies are the ones who want to eat you. The infected in L4D only want to kill you by hitting you. Just a thought..

Who said they don't take part in cannibalism? I would imagine a predator would first have to kill, or at least suppress it's prey before it begins eating.

It's a rabies virus... Humans infeced with rabies normally do not turn into cannibals. <_< Then again it's stated to be a mutated form. So, who knows!

Though animals with rabies do get extremely violent and powerfull, they often drool and bite at random objects including thin air. Tbh the L4D infected are bloody rioters.

Maybe the unspecified mutation of the new strain of the rabies was it becoming airborne?

Eh that could be a possibility. Still though they still bite and drool. Should be a fun game anyways.
