View Full Version : Let's just...abandon the stupid game
Synapse

I mean c'mon the zombies aren't really zombies and the M16 doesn't reload like a real one let's just screw the game it's obviously no good. World of Conflict anyone?
In case I get flamed by those not observant enough to notice, that was sarcasm. Wtf is up with nit-picking the game apart? It's obviously not going to be how you in particurlar would've done it, it's how TR want it done. I think people need to get off their backs a bit I mean the game is going to immense lets leave the stupid complaints till after you've played it.
Just my 2 cents ^_^

That wasn't called for. Don't get so angry.
I agree with Synapse. Small details CAN make a difference, but when it gets to the level of reload animations, it's just ridiculous. Most people who play it will never see a real M16, so the difference doesn't matter. I mean, it's a game about an outbreak of super-rabies that results in creatures like the Tank. Realism doesn't come into it.

WiC isn't very fun. You have zero care for your units like in a normal RTS and the entire game focuses on taking out as much enemies with tactical aid as possible which is cool but isn't that great for gameplay in the long run.

Ok, but I like it.

I'm sure TRS are happy to have people nitpick their game apart. If they like an idea for change someone suggests they'll consider it, and if they don't think it would be worth their time, or that it would be detriment to gameplay... well... they wont. Simple as that.
If people didn't nitpick games then developers would lose something valuable, insight into potential players opinions of their product. Something as trivial as the accuracy of weapon animations? I wouldn't be surprised if they do change prior to release. Because something which can be fixed easily and increase the enjoyment of a portion of the user base without decreasing the enjoyment of the rest of it would likely be seen as a good move.

His 2 cents aren't particularly dumb, but I do agree there are at least two threads this would have happily fitted in as a reply for.

Prove it. How are you more 'right' than Synapse, me, or anyone else?
Nitpicking is fine in some respects, i.e., easily changeable aspects, which reloading does fall into. However, it can be taken too far, i.e., 'In the book his hair was Autumn Brown! That's clearly Chestnut Brown you are using' or 'Zombies? That's not possible! Use terrorists instead! They actually exist!'

Good Nitpicking = "I think they should try to work in some kind of ambient fog in the levels. I know its just kind of a side-note but imagine the cool visuals and mood of a horde of zombies tearing ass at you through knee high fog!"
Bad Nitpicking = "Zoey should have a diffrent haircut, and the biker guy needs to have diffrent tattoos."

Everyone's on edge bc no release date... There's nothing to talk about bc it's all been said... wait till the next media release and we can stop picking each other apart.

Most of the topics on this forum are utterly pointless....let people post what they want, within reason.

at the end of the day they are working very hard on the game dedicated to it your not going to do nothing but play the game and it might be the only co-op that stays true to co-op
