i played with some l4d devs (level designer and fellow animator) on friday night in association with the eurogamer website and i asked them what the patch will include and they said dead air and death toll for versus, and they said 'very very' soon, so i guess i would believe this guy.

I DID change the left part of it, because it had recepit numbers on it ect...

The reason there are little blotches around the words is because he saved it in Paint as a jpg.. it doesn't keep the exact colors and most of the time it will leave these types of traces..

I believe it's real.. if not then it's a pretty sad attempt at attention.

guys stop flaming him he was trying to help by coming here to tell you guys with our shared love for the game! i already verified a valve employee told me over voice com during a game on friday it would be soon and it would include but not exclusively be the 2 other campaigns in veruss., chet has mentioned to other sourced already the patch is soon.

Good point. It'll be hard to make Dead Air balanced even if they fix that spot, because the big open area at the opposite edge of the map is equally isolated and unobstructed.

I believe that focus part was, in the first image in the middle of the screen there was a graphical error with the word focus, like it had been cut and pasted and not moved properly.

But hell, its not like I'm going to get all excited. Maybe its real, maybe not, who knows.

if theres no update by the end of this week valves just retarded.

its been almost 3 months since release and we've only seen one update somewhat large update which fixed boomer suicides and witch hugging.

probably the two least game-breaking glitches in the game compared to whats out there now

I prefer HL2:ep3 and/or the scout update for TF2 then some 'patch' for l4d anyways ... DLC will just be Death toll & dead air on VS & some extra map(s) & other stuff

haha binge i kinda agree with you. EP:3 and the scout update will probably be way more amazing than this update.

also you need to take into consideration that while this is your guys winter breaks, its probably theirs too.

Ive been home from college the month on break so id assume the workers would be taking vacations nowadays.

but binge the problem is we paide 45-50 dollars for a game that lacks any sustanance due to its lack of fairness and ability to exploit constantly.

but the L4D update might include the SDK. from that day on, we'll never have to worry about new maps like we are right now.

to clarify it would appear that yes, the patch chet refers to only fixes bugs and does tweaks and the new content, ie the vs maps will come later probably on 360 at same time, but in any case it wont be long until we get this either

They so need to release these frigging VS maps already. They should have been released when the game was originally released.
