Steam ranking?

What exactly does your steam ranking mean? How is it calculated? Should I be as proud as I feel right now?

I think it is simply related to the ammount of hours you play on average over the last 2 weeks. 10, like me, means you have no social life ;)

I'm only 6.4, which means I have a little bit of a social life :P

It's just the amount of hours you have played in the last two weeks multiplied by X. I think you can get to 10 at about 45 hours or so.
