i got it, i liked reading the info about each characters and reading more infected on boomers, hunters ect. What i loved the most was reading through each map and reading the Infected tips for VS

Hmmm, wouldn't most of it be onsolete now? Valve have done some changes and it'd be a shame for some new players to pick up spurious info from it.

Or you could just read this forum and pick it all up here including changes. For free.

Anyone who bought it for the strategy guide aspect alone gets a free facepalm from me.

I got it through illegal means and it's alright. Mostly just basic info that you would learn from anything off the interwubbs.
