Im srry if asked but when you join into a game is going to be like CSS where you join either survivors or Infected and if you choose a team you see the 4 choices of skins or is it you chose the team and it automatically selects the skin?

No you cant, Its completly random on survivor side. Obviously you know what you look like on infected because you choose who you are. But survivor = DO NOT choose your skin

That was true, but wasn't there a thread recently of someone getting an e-mail saying you can choose now? Not sure.

Infected you pick your 'preferred' zombie, Survivor you just pick that you want to be on that team and last I knew it randomly chose a skin.

i think for xbox 360 players it will be a little differant, like it wouldnt be always 2 sides, u could set up a 4 player game, and just fight AI as the Survivors. or leave it open for ppl to jump in. . . thats whats in my head anyway seems to be the way most games play on live. i like that idea. . also there is a thread on the Steam forum about if they will eventualy add more skins to choose from, alot of ppl said it was a stupid qustion since its called Left 4 Dead and there will always be only 4. . . which i agreed with at first but now am thinking, eventualy if they let u choose your character u could have a pick of 10 and only be aloud to play with 4 in the game. . still only 4 survivers :D but all erelivant becasuse the game will rule even if they put u in a G.W.Bush skin. . its all zombie pwnage to me

Obviously you know what you look like on infected because you choose who you are.
I thought the Infected were handled on a rotational basis, though you CAN select a preference. The Tank, unlike the rest (save the Witch), cannot be selected as preference, but everyone on the Infected side gets at least one shot as him during a match. If you're playing a Hunter and your turn for Tank rolls around, you can abandon the Hunter right then and there and jump into the Tank immediately.

Survivors
Infected and if you choose Survivors:

Francis
Zoey
Louis

Anyways Zoey coen I believe that later in the game when the patches come out you will beable to choose your Survivor or as someone said(im sorry if I forget)in options to choose your "preferred" survivor right now we have no proof that you can choose your survivor,but you can choose your infected boss.

i think u can only pick only pick surviors that arnt already chosen by other players otherwise ur see 2 of the same player. for zombies u r limted 2 certine zomnies like 2 tanks 3 smokers like that u see

2 PLAYERS CANT CHOOSE THE SAME SURVIVOR CHARACTER, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

We just don't know if we will be able to choose who we play as, if we can then we can only choose a certain survivor if someone else has not.

Why do you keep asking the same questions that you asked when you first joined the forum?

Current info is, no you can't choose your survivor character.

Until TRS says you can, or a video link shows that you can, then assume you can't, as that is what we've been told.
